Welcome to the website of award-winning composer Darren Scott.

I has been actively involved in composing for over a decade now, specialising in atmospheric soundtracks for theatre & film. I can work within a wide spectrum of styles and genres from classical to ambient through to techno.

In 2004 I was a Channel 4 Soundtracks Winner, and the following year I scored the award-winning Edinburgh Fringe hit play The Good Thief, which ran for 5 years. More recently my music can be heard on the Number One Video Game The Ashes 2009.

I am also a heavily in-demand music producer and sound designer, and have provided voice production for computer games including the The Chronicles of Spellborn and Alpha Black Zero. I have produced more than 30 albums to date.

I record my own non-soundtrack music under the highly-respected psuedonym Ganzfeld and have released 3 albums Geography (1992), Half-Life (2001), and Half-Life Reworked (2003). I am currently working on a series of albums to be released in 2011.
